What has the EU ever done for Croydon?
Judging from using the search facilty of the exciting new financial transparency site, it was diddley squat last year. Rooting around on the Defra CAP search site shows that the fortunate Mr M W Keyte, whoever he is, received €309.21 last year
The UK got €1.023.527.191,45 and France €1.238.664.985,87. I am fiddling around with search parameters to see what else I can turn up, but just who is the unnamed 'natural person' in the UAE who got his or her mitts on €1500 last year?

Oh come on Mr C, we all know that the EU has prevented war on the streets of Croydon, enabled its denizens to travel and work freely amongst the enlightened member states, enjoy reciprocal health benefits, see Mr Mandelson on telly, and many more amazing things. In fact, Croyonians and all their fellow Britons should salute and give credit to the EU every morning before breakfast.
