Gadget corner

This device, the Samsung SPH-P9000 Deluxe MITs (snappy name, huh?) is now on my wish list. It weighs about 4 1/2 lbs, and is a computer, MP3 player etc. Rather less plausibly, it is a 'mobile' phone. Even if folded three ways, it is going to be the size of a paperback book and will make the user look even sillier than those people who insist on using bluetooth headsets. The latter might allow middle aged men to live out their Star Trek fantasies, but oh how very ridiculous they look. Always supposing the embarassment factor could be overcome, and overcome it most certainly would be, it would make the siren 'come and mug me' song of the iPod quite muted.

However, I suspect it could take over from the newspaper as a device for blocking one's face from intrusive paparrazo and the like.

Are you stuggling with intrusive papparazzi since your appearance on the internet telly this week?

Don't think Croydon collectivley unplugged the phone etc to watch my debut, no. Or else they are all too shy.
