"Venezuela's state oil company is suspending a much-promoted program that provided free heating oil to hundreds of thousands of poor people throughout the United States, the company announced Monday".
It would have been amusing to watch Livingstone wriggling on the hook if he had been re-elected with his oil forpublicity 'transport consultancy' deal that he cooked up a while back. Good job Boris spiked it, frankly.
If anyone did not know, Venezuela means 'Little Venice'. Well, what with all of the lookalikes for the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Square in those parts, I'm sure it was easy to see the similarity.
