Re-fuelling stops at Brize Norton
The Sub Standard is reporting CND claims that Brize Norton is being used as a stop off for supply flights to Israel, based on an eye witness claim that a plane with markings in Ivrit has been spotted there. A number of points spring to mind, including: what on earth has this got to do with nuclear disarmament and since when is anything in Ivrit automatically sinister, because after all, anti-Zionists aren't anti-Semites, are they?
However, the real jaw dropper is from MP Mohammed Sarwar: "with one Labour MP on Monday saying Government policy was "biased" towards Israel. Mohammed Sarwar told BBC2's Newsnight: "In my view, we are partisan in this conflict when we are allowing British airports to be used for logistics for Israel".
Like duh - Israel is a sovereign state with which the UK has friendly diplomatic relations, while Hizbollah is a gang of freelance Islamofascist murderers. Sarwar has accepted hospitality from the Senate of Pakistan, so just how 'unbiased' might he be over issues Kashmiri, I wonder?

It's nice to read that Britain is "biased" to legitimate statehood. Israel is a legitimate state and an ally of Britain. Of course we're on their side!
