Or Mig 21, to non-readers of Cyrillic script, as it is 50 years old round about now.

In common with many of my contemporaries (?), I will always see it in my mind's eye atop an Airfix box.


Turns out that I do not have total recall, as the image I had in mind was a Mirage / Mig 21 'Dogfight Doubles' box, but that was actually a Mirage and a Mig 15.... Small pic here.

Now for a little contented remembrance of things past.
