Language, truth and not much logic....

"Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today told non-Muslim non-governmental organisations (NGOs) not to challenge the National Fatwa Council’s credibility.
He said it was unfair to challenge or dispute a fatwa issued by the council purely on logic because it could create confusion among the people".
(NB - the NFC looks to be a comparatively benign organisation, and does not appear to specialise in delivering Iranian-style death threats).
Perhaps Hamidi should be done with it and tell the Malayans not to worry their pretty little heads about anything. I seem to recall reading an extract of a radical feminist text that held that logic was inescapably phallocratic and therefore should always be discounted if it clashed with a feminist argument.
