Parliamentary exchange of the day
Between David Cameron and Labourite Brian Donohoe:
DC - "Although Tony Blair achieved great mastery of this place, he could not wait to get out of here. Many have asked “What was the hurry?” I think I have found the answer. There is a new book—I am sure it will be available in the Library—by Dr. Anthony Seldon. On page 330—
Not a bad slap down.

He said Blair couldn't wait to get out of "this place"? Blair? Who clung on by his fingernails and toenails for 10 long, destructive, calamitous years? If Gordon Brown hadn't pried each individual nail off the No 10 brickwork, he'd still be there.
Not that it makes any difference which of these scumbags is in office, but to say Blair couldn't wait to get out of Parliament is a bit rich.
