Today's Euro follies....
Yesterday "MEPs debated the fight against terrorism with statements from the Commission and the Council". Sounds thrilling does it not, but I have waded through the transcript and offer up the following:

And questions about Michael Cashman's command of the calendar need to be asked:
If he is a fan of the Julian calendar, I suppose that makes sense, but I am not aware of his being a Greek Old Calendarist. And surely he will be drummed out of the Party of European Socialists (PES) for saying something about his Uncle Sam that in the language of the Left verges on high treason.
