Failing to walk it like you talk it - a Chinese angle
Chinese millionaires have been surveyed on their likes and dislikes, as China Daily reports. It is largely rather dull stuff, but apparently 10% of them are prepared to 'fess up to their careers being of greater importance than their families. However, looking at the overall sample, when they were questioned about what they like doing with their spare time, travel, swimming and golf all rated higher than doing family things. Ho ho.

Prety much the same with me - if they ever do a survey of Devon based millionaire homosexuals.

How much time do they spend sat at their computers drinking single malt whiskey dressed in nothing but a pair of black socks and wanking over porn?
I have a sneaky suspicion that is just how most chinese millionaires spend their down time, just like their Japanese cousins.

Well that just killed any carnal thoughts I might have had. Rufinaly fellow

The Chinese do not drink single malt whiskey. Cognac is their drink of choice.
I get bored with the ignorance around here.

very enlightening Mr C. From reading the newspapers I had come to believe that Chinese Millionaires had only become so due to people trafficing, expoilting Tibetans and making fellow Chinese work themselves to death.
As such such I assumed all favoured receation would have taken the form of strokinh white cats and the affixing of a monocole.

In other words, they're the same as millionaires and billionaires the world over: driven. Where's the big surprise?
Actually, it's interesting that there are enough self-made millionaires in China to make doing a survey worthwhile. Very encouraging.

I wonder how many of them are women. Chinese business women are pistols.

One of the comparatively rare female CEOs in the US is Andrea Jung of Avon, who is of Chinese ancestry and seems to be going some.

Interesting, Croydonian, but that's in a corporate sense. What the Chinese excel in, in my experience, is entrepreneurial endeavours. There are many, many very rich Chinese businesswomen in Singapore.

BTW o/t but the newly appointed CEO of Pepsi worldwide is an Indian woman.
