Roman Catholic jihad?

Another odd story, this time involving misbehaving Catholics in Glastonbury. Further details here.

"Local pagans were pelted with salt and branded witches...'It was as if we had returned to the Dark Ages. This is hugely damaging to Glastonbury, of which I would suggest two-thirds is pagan'".

The local priest was
"very angry" and added "A family appeared who we don't know, who were very destructive not only in the town and to the pagan community, but were also swearing at our parishioners as well". Pas tres catholique...

Reminds me a cartoon in Private Eye years back, in which a C of E vicar in the pulpit declares, 'and after the next hymn, the verger will be taking names for next week's suicide car bombing agaisnt the Mormon tabernacle'.

utterly bizarre- but then again the dark ages are closing in fast- must go, the King of Wessex has just called out the Fyrd to defend the Michael Wood service station on the M5 from the depredations of the Mercians, who as we all know are followers of the Pellagian heresy.
