An update on Ms Cig
Further to my post earlier in the week, she has been cleared by a Turkish court of 'insulting religion' by suggesting that "5,000 years ago, the head scarf was a symbol to distinguish the temple priestess who had ritual sex with young men to celebrate fertility". More here.

watched widdecombe on vox politix playback and she was superb making that tosser jenkin look the fool he is.
why oh why have two such complete pricks as maude and jenkin been allowed anywhere near the a-list.

Not a woman to be trifled with, the Widdiemeisterin. Not really of my wing of the party, but firm in her convictions and apparently an absolutely first class constituency MP.
Rest assured that some crack pot fascist or Islamist will seek a legal review of the decision to throw out Ms. Cig's case.
