Because 16/9 is, wait for it, 'International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer'.

Yes, really.

Anyone spotting any indication that this is being marked in these parts and alerting me to it will win my undying gratitude.  Judging from this, not much was made of IDftPotOL in the UK last year.
