And that is it in its entirety. No decoding, no footnotes etc etc.
Now I know what that means, as will my regulars, but there are an awful lot of people out there who would not have a clue what all this Manor of Northstead business actually means, and I do not think it wholly unreasonable that what styles itself the Central Office of Information might be a little less opaque.

How many of these "conflicting" posts are there? Can they be re-filled quickly in case several Members decide to quit in short sucession?
It would be too transparent for them to say what it actually means.
There's always elevation to the Lords as an alternative means of disqualification as an MP.
From what I can see, it is just the Chiltern Hundreds and Northstead. Our man Boris will doubtless be a far better steward than his predecessor, one Peter Mandelson, whoever he was.....
I had the great misfortune to work at COI decades ago. I'm still receiving remedial therapy. But the point is that the COI is disseminating 'information'. Whether that 'information' is intelligible to humans or Martians is another matter altogether.
