Lex Talionis
A fairly mundane story in Ekathermini of a drunken compatriot of mine being nabbed by Rhodes' finest, but with some rather amusing details:
The idiot took it upon himself to bite the arresting cop in the thigh, which is mildly comic - at least for the unbitten - but the rap sheet is something else:
"He was found guilty of causing damage to other people’s property, resisting arrest, using abusive language and causing bodily harm".

Being in Greece at the moment (though not, it should scarcely be necessary to add, in Faliraki) I noticed this immediately.
One other thing struck me; the incident was described as having happened "yesterday" (at time of writing the story), and today he was sentenced to 14 months.
That is how to dispense justice...
