The Mark of the Beast did not come cheap:
"Mr. Francois: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much has been spent on developing the HM Revenue and Customs brand since 2005. [119415]
Dawn Primarolo: Since 2005, £720,000 has been spent on developing the HM Revenue and Customs brand".
Labels: Where your money goes
..but what a bobby dazzler they ended up with . I feel it was all worthwhile

I would have thought that branding the whole lot of them with a red hot iron might be popular in some quarters.

equally, they would like to do that to some of us.....

From loony leftie Bennite to docile Brownite, the inept Primarolo must be the single most hapless and out of her depth Minister in Government. Gordon's protection of such a desperate mediocrity does not bode well for the future...

Dawn's dodgy past would destroy her, were any of our press prepared to investigate.

What dodgy past?

I was going to mention neo-humanist sans serif but I'd rather ask
What dodgy past? too.

I agree with HG about the neo humananist sans serif ... why? And who is doing this "branding" except little non-revenue producer, public sector lice who have never had a money-making idea in their foetid little lives? What the hell are they doing getting engaged in "branding" - given that they don't understand the concept. (It's capitalism, stupid.)
However, I also agree with HG that this Dim Prawn dodgy background should be explained to all - preferably with vivid photos, but if not, I can live with just text.
