New Culture Forum event in 'Town'
I'm off out shortly to attend a New Culture Forum event where Michael Gove is speaking on this topic: "Are We Seeing the Emergence of a New Anti-Islamist Intelligentsia?".
Should be interesting, and all things being equal I'll do a write up tomorrow.

You know , thats just the kind of event that would get me out of the house on a cold monday evening.
Im sticking with emmerdale and Corrie.
Think your first comment here [before Peter] is spam. As for the new intelligentsia - what's your own opinion or are you reserving judgement until after this evening?
I await The Croydonian Report with interest. My cat, less so.
What does your cat have against intelligentsia Verity?
I always thought cat's quite bright and certinaly they are no fans of halal.
I have a dog currently and think i am becoming more of a dog person overall.
City Unslicker, Cats, as you probably know, have very strong opinions - when they hold an opinon at all, that is. Often they just stare into space, intentionally not cluttering their minds up with opinions. But several times a day, they do hold strong opinions - about food, for example.
They do not, by and large, look forward to intellectual challenge, and they have no strong opinions either way about islam as they are the favoured animal (along with horses).
I like dogs OK. I'd certainly never harm or frighten one, but I cannot imagine life without a couple of cats. If nothing else, they are so elegant and so knowing.
Mr. C -
I'm looking forward to your report of the conference. Please give us your considered redaction & response.
Dr. Syn
The answer has been on the tip of my tongue all night... I can't wait for your news!
Dr S - I'll do what I can..
James - it sure was. The perils of not having verification on.
PH / Mutley - If I wasn't so trusting, I might think I had detected mockery.
Plus, cats have mocking eyes,Croydonian. They look at you with eyes that say, "mock, mock, mock."
Oh how true. Cats are not mocked...
We await your report.
Michale Gove is the top speaker candidate for the Islington Conservartive Party Dinner. In reserve ta the moment is Iain Dale . I `m hoping its the latter actually.
I have the notes, all I have to do is to make sense of my abbreviations and type them up...
We await with baited breath, as every skoolboy know.
Over half way there, honest....
