Is Cameron paying attention?

I expect most of us will know about DC's India blog, and that is being thoroughly chewed over elsewhere so I will avoid kicking that one off here. What is a great deal more intriguing than the content is where it has linked to - Conservatives.com (now there's a surprise) , Conservative Home (fairly bold of them), Guido (reckless...), Iain Dale (probably sensible) and Recess Monkey (positively certifiable).

A bit of digging around at RM's place wouldn't exactly make for ego boosting reading for DC.

7/9/6 - Recess Monkey has now been excised from the links list....

This is one more example of how distanced Dave and his clique are from the reality outside Notting Hill and Westminster.

First - There are already real journalists, who are actually posted in India, who are also running blogs. These people have the background in India, the knowledge of the country that comes from living there and the journalistic experience.

So Dave's blog is going to be utterly worthless. I am sure he thinks he is going to bring some thrilling and fresh insights, being so new and all, just like 10,000 gap year students on their blogs and before that , 20,000 people over the previous 350 years who were all busy offering their "fresh perspective" on India.

Dave is facile and, let's face it, not very intelligent. The thought of him leading a country is horrifying. But he won't,of course, so one can calm down. But he is certainly buggering everything up for the next real leader the Conservatives get.

have to agree Verity.

Given Dave's environmentalism, and the fact he proudly announced that the Conservative Party was planting 600 trees in Scotland to make 25 Victoria Street "carbon neutral" I asked on his blog how he was going to make this flight to India carbon neutral too.

I think this is particularly relevant as rumours abound that Bobsleigh Dave is considering new fuel taxes that will make air travel unaffordable for many.

My question appeared on his blog for 3 whole minutes before someone deleted it!

Clearly it is not only Mr Miliband who is afraid of open debate!

RM has now been expunged !

Right Links was linked to and then deleted. I don't know what I did to incur the wrath of Dave?

At this rate I'll never get linked....

Mind you, the blog seems to have lost all of its links now.
