TUC calls for unsustainable investment
Yes they have:
"The TUC has today (Wednesday) welcomed hints that the Chancellor of the Exchequer is to suspend the 'golden rule' or 'sustainable investment rule' on limiting government borrowing".
(Now we all know that 'investment' is Labour speak for 'spending', but if Brown, Darling and the TUC are going to offer me stationary waterfowl, I am going to shoot)
And a bit of class war too:
"The Chancellor should be looking to put more money into the pockets of ordinary people by cracking down on the tax loopholes used by the super-rich - many of whom made millions from the speculative bubble that has now burst."
