What on earth connects pay levels to the willingness or otherwise of a father to spend time with his progeny?

Could someone stick an entire wrapped (including the little wire twist) slice loaf of white bread down this stupid bitch's throad and hold it there for the count of 100, please? Alternatively, a 2' by 4' plank applied frequently and with great force to the head might have the same effect.
