Two birds with one stone

Someone's a bit cocky:

"I know bloody well if the Olympics isn't ready by May 2012 I won't get a fourth term".

What greater incentive could there be to hope for the XXXth Olympiad to be the disaster?

what a mess today with the Dyke saga though.

I can't seem him not winning given the opposition. We can't even seem to find a candidate!

Argh.

More than a little depressing, isn't it? Still, it could be worse - imagine if they had fallen for Richard Branson's schtick.

am quite wound up about the Dyke thing. Nothing against him, just don't want to put my finger in...

sorry, I mean, where do the leaderhsip get off on appointing non-Tories to potentially senior positions. Zac Golsmith riles me, this was way over the line.
