A transfer market in politicians...

A thought that occurred after reading a post on Vaclav Klaus at Prague Tory's place is a transfer market for politicians. I would very much like to have both Vaclav Klaus and John Howard as UK politicians. There are plenty I'd like to transfer out of our market too.....

Care to raise your game a little?

Rather than 'Eyeless in Gaza'?

I don't suppose the average Iraqi would have stood much chance against a rather better armed police / army / Republican Guard, which I don't suppose would have felt constrained by the prospect of collateral damage in a fire fight.

JH is not a warmonger. Unlike other coward or corrupt leaders, he believes that for a threat (unanimously endorsed UN resolution) to be credible you have to follow through. I like globalists and I like ...

Saddam was certainly delusional. That's a bit different than unafraid.

I don't suppose the average Iraqi would have stood much chance against a rather better armed police apprently they didnt want to, they are making a f***** good job of standing up to the coalition.

Saddam was certainly delusional. unlike bush/Blair or slap head Cameron?

Croydonian,

A marvellous idea! You have found the solution for the problems of politics: an increase in quality by using the free market to regulate the supply and demand of politicians.

I am sorry but the UK can't have neither Vaclav Havel nor John Howard because we need them more urgently in Germany. We are offering a higher price. Let the auction begin. What about doing it on ebay?

Now there's a thought.... Anywhere that might Frau Merkel?
