Is Guido losing his shyness?

Guido has a post referencing a project he's involved in, Message Space which is his vehicle for getting ad revenue for his site. Not enormously interesting. However, a click through has that refers to the ownership of Messagespace and includes this photograph:

Hilton sports a rather poor 'tache, and the be-turbanned fellow is Jag Singh which leaves the other fellow as the owner of Global & General which owns the majority of Messagespace. Now why would Guido choose to have his image on the site, eh?

I knew Mr Stains back in the late 1980's in the good old days of CFB. Time has treated him far more gently than it has me !

He is a lot fatter than that and has a beard.
That "photo" is about ten years out of date.

Shades of the infamous before and after photographs of Julie Burchill - she used her late 70s photo for years and years, and when it was finally revealed quite what a woman of substance she had become, her previous choice of byline photo became rather more understandable.
