A brief observation on 'anti-Zionist' attacks
Suppose you are one of those people so outraged by what is happening in Gaza that you just feel compelled to shout abuse at the denizens of Golders Green, set fire to a Jewish community centre in Helsingborg, ram a shul in Toulouse with a burning car etc etc.
On planet reality, one that those murderous idiots do not inhabit, it is, to say the least, unlikely that Jewish Britons, Jewish Swedes or Jewish Frenchmen will decide to join those condemning etc Israel.
What *might* happen, and I hope it does not, is that said Jewish Britons etc will decide that they are unsafe in the diaspora, and make aliyah to Israel, thus re-inforcing the Jewish population of Israel and strengthen the Zionism that those other individuals are so upset about.

Indeed. The only way in which such attacks might "make sense" is if the hatred the attackers felt for Israel was very much secondary to the hatred they felt for Jews everywhere.
I'm not a big fan of August Bebel, but his comment that 'Anti-Semitism is the Socialism of fools' has scope for adaptation.
