Apparently, the together splendid Dan Hannan was told in no uncertain terms that he could not address a Bruges Group fringe event as Nigel Farage was also on the platform. So he did not.

I didn't know those two fellows were mutually exclusive, perhaps like matter and anti-matter that cannot be allowed to come into direct contact.

By the way, I notice that n anagram of Nigel Farage is "elfin garage", for what that might be worth...
