Technical writing. How not to do it.
As spotted on a packet of satay sauce powder:
It reads 'Dissolve coconut milk powder in 150ml water in a small pan, do not use hot or cold water'.
It reads 'Dissolve coconut milk powder in 150ml water in a small pan, do not use hot or cold water'.
Perhaps you are supposed to use dessicated water..?
Perhaps the word at the tip of someone's tongue was "lukewarm".

Frank - Maybe so. The French instructions referred to 'temperature ambient' or somesuch.
The fact that you're making it out of a packet shows your culinary skills are still just as lacking as ever. It's not very difficult to make from scratch! Tsk!
PP - OK, OK. I'm a *lot* handier in the kitchen than I used to be, honest.
