That's too funny!!! I can just see the blue rinse brigade launching themselves into the crowd.

I hope you had a good time at the conference?

I went to the 1997, 1998 and 1999 party conferences had a blast!

It's strange, but I never saw an old British lady with a blue rinse. Was it ever a fad in Britain?

It was a fad in the US around 35 or 40 years ago from the looks of the clothes of the time, but I didn't know it had caught on in Britain to the point where people would refer to "the blue rinse brigade". Or is it yet one more outdated,imported Americanism?
