Curious but true

The US has been engaged in Iraq for 1349 days, longer than the period from Pearl Harbour to VJ day. Hat tip to The Australian for pointing this out.

Meanwhile, I'm still mulling on the blog soap opera plot outline etc, but will not post until I've got a few more concrete ideas to throw into the mix.

Fine,as Peter Hitchens appears to have abandoned his own brainchild. He also doesn't seem to understand it.

Verity is it really worth persuing?

I much prefer the skullduggery , murder and adultery that goes on in the village of Scotton Pinkey.
Its like the Archers only with more sex and violence.

Plot lines you won`t see
1 A racist handled with understanding and sympathy as a multi-dimensional character with good qualities and real concerns
2 A black man commiting a crime
3 An immigrant family who have nothing to do with everyone else and don`t speak English
4 A girl who gets pregnanat to obtain coucil housing
5 A boyfriend who stays in the background so they can collect benefits

I `m not talking about afascist mnanifesto I`m talking about a balanced view hat even Liberla Hollywood manages in say "Crash"
